Acting for Film Course in Fulham
The premise of 'Acting For Film' is to provide affordable professional TV/film acting training.
All exercises and classes are about getting the best out of actors individually in a non-competitive and supportive environment.
There is am maximum of 6 actors per class guaranteeing plenty of screen time for all.
The acting techniques of Michael Chekov, Sanford Meisner and The Method are applied specifically for TV/film.
4 week Course outline
1. Breathing techniques to focus and calm nerves
2. Screen persona - how to discover and utilise it
3. Sustaining moments and reactions
4. Emotions and emotional transitions
5. Gestures and natural movement
6. Character development
7. Casting technique
8. Listening and relationships
9. Improvisation
10. objectives
11. sight reading
Acting for film takes place at First Steps Studios 234 Lillie Road SW6 in Fulham
